Publisher disclosure: Indian School of Skills offers a competing UI/UX programme. This is an enrolment checklist, not an independent rating or a first-hand student review.
Start with the current programme
NextLeap describes its learning approach as social, hands-on, and continuous, and lists UX Design/Product Design among its fellowship areas. To assess your fit, request the current programme details and a sample of how an individual project receives feedback.
Use NextLeap's official UI/UX fellowship page to check the current terms. At the time of this check, the provider describes a 16-week live-online fellowship, a published weekly schedule, portfolio and mentor-feedback components, and a listed full-course fee of ₹39,999. Its placement-support language is eligibility-based, so read the current Top Fellow terms rather than treating it as a general guarantee. Public information can help you ask better questions, but it does not establish the quality of an individual learner's experience.
Check what you will practise
Look for a sequence that connects user research, problem framing, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing. Ask which assignments are guided exercises and which require you to make your own decisions. A tool demonstration and an assessed project serve different purposes.
- Ask to see an anonymised project brief and its assessment criteria.
- Check whether you will recruit participants, test a prototype, and revise the work.
- Ask how accessibility and responsive design are covered.
- Confirm what you can publish in your portfolio and how group contributions are credited.
Find out how feedback works
Separate live teaching, group questions, peer reviews, and individual mentor critique. Each can be useful, but they are different services. Ask how often your own work will be reviewed, who reviews it, how long you wait, and whether you can submit a revision.
For example, feedback that says “improve the checkout” is less useful than feedback identifying an unclear delivery charge and asking you to test how users interpret it. Request a sample critique so you can judge the level of detail.
Compare total cost and time
Get a written quote covering tuition, taxes, instalment charges, required tools, and any optional services. Confirm the schedule, expected independent study time, missed-class policy, deferral terms, and refund conditions before paying.
Do not compare tuition alone. An in-person option may add travel costs; a demanding timetable may affect your paid work. Use our course cost checklist to identify the questions that matter to your budget.
Read the career-support terms
Ask which services are included: portfolio reviews, interview practice, job-board access, or employer introductions. Check eligibility, availability, and the length of support. If outcomes are quoted, request the cohort dates, number of eligible learners, and definition of a placement.
A sample success story cannot establish your likely outcome. Your experience, portfolio, applications, interview performance, and available roles all affect a job search.
Is the ISS UI/UX Design programme right for you?
Review the curriculum for research, interface design, and portfolio projects. Compare the learning format, weekly commitment, fees, and support with your goals before applying.

Request the same evidence from both providers: a current syllabus, a sample critique, a complete fee quote, and written support terms. Speak with recent learners whose starting point resembles yours. Ask what they found useful, what they had to learn independently, and how much time they spent each week.
Use the answers to make your own shortlist. Neither a higher price nor a smaller advertised cohort establishes that a programme is better for you. Our UI/UX course comparison checklist can help you record the trade-offs.

What are the current fees?
Request a written quote for the exact cohort and payment plan. Include taxes, instalment charges, software, and any optional services in your comparison.
